About Glohea at Johns Hopkins University

Glohea at JHU is a Johns Hopkins student and faculty-led organization within the Johns Hopkins University Center for Global Health. Our organization’s mission is to increase youth involvement in global health and to develop the next generation of leaders in global health and medicine.

We hold an annual summer program, The Global Health Leaders Conference, that features world leaders in global health, public health, and medicine, brings together and educates secondary school students from around the world, and creates a platform for both students and global health leaders to share their work and ideas.

We also operate The Pre-Collegiate Global Health Review, the first international, peer-reviewed journal that features articles on global health topics written by pre-collegiate students. PGHR educates secondary school students about effective communication of ideas and research, exposes them to a peer-review publication process, and give them an international platform to share their research and ideas.

The Glohea at JHU team would like to thank The Johns Hopkins Alumni Association for its support.
